How to ensure security of personnel lift?

Reeslift personnel lift called GTWY1,there are 5 models with working height from 8m to 14m.As for a machine used at height, it is necessary to ensure its security to keep operator safe when working at height.Let’s see what configurations to ensure its security.

GTWY1 single mast vertical lifts must choose a level ground to operate.This is first step to keep its safety.It is better to use it indoor with a level and solid ground,and without obstructions.

Outriggers interlock system to keep whole lift base stable.There is outrigger indicator to see if they are set up correctly.To be sure four lights are on before operating.If outriggers are not in contact with level surface,the system will prevent the lift from operating.

The level bubble can help operator to see if the lift is on a leveling ground.It is to be checked before operating.It helps operators and technicians determine whether the lift platform is positioned correctly and is not tilting or leaning to one side. When the platform is level, it indicates that the lift is stable and safe for work.

Double chain is a safe feature for aerial working platforms.Reeslift GTWY1 has two chains to enhance the safety and stability of lifts. It meets national strength requirement to guarantee safety use.They reduce the risk of tilting or imbalance while the platform is elevated.

Deadman switch and emergency lowering stop button make workers’ operating much safer. Operator must press deadman switch and up/down button to raise or lower the lift. This feature is to avoid accident when press up/down button incautiously.If the lift can’t work  while operator is at height,there is emergency lowering stop to lower the lift to the ground safely.It is an essential safety feature to prevent accidents and protect personnel.
